How IT KiTT Works

As Fractional Microsoft 365 specialists, we provide structure and design to remove risk and uncertainty from your Microsoft 365 cloud environment and ensure work is done properly from the outset.
Here’s what you can expect from our specialist services...

Step 1: Initial Enquiry

Your first step is to get in touch via email and briefly outline the problem as you see it and we can take it from there...whether it's what you’re struggling with, what’s not working as it should, what you’re planning to improve, migrate, or anything else...

We support with:

- Microsoft 365 administration support - reorganise data sprawl, design and structure of SharePoint and Teams, OneDrive and Exchange

- Fractional Microsoft 365 specialist support with training, acceptance and adoption and data storage

- SharePoint and Teams migration support with planning, execution, finalising or clean-up

-  Information Architect; Microsoft permissions models with Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange

- Limited or stretched Internal IT resources  

- Or something else...however small, drop it on an email and we'll help, even with basic guidance and advice...we'll confirm that your requirement(s) aligns with our technical scope and experience and we can go from there...

Step 2: Discovery Call

If it's good fit, we’ll arrange a structured discovery call at a time that suits.

It's not a sales call, it'll be a technical (or non-technical), operational conversation designed to surface requirements and issues.

During the call we will explore what it is you need and how we can help. Everything is discussed in plain English with technical detail introduced only where useful, with the outcome of a shared understanding of current state, priorities and what this work will give you and your business.

Step 3: Scope & Recommendation

You’ll receive a proposed scope via email that explains:

- A defined scope of work

- Recommended next steps

- Prioritise tasks that are both urgent and important

- Options where appropriate; e.g. phased work, priority fixes

- Estimated effort and engagement model

Everything is explained with full transparency detailing what is included and what isn’t for a clearly defined, technically sound plan you can trust with a clear proposal so you can make an informed decision with. If needed, further phone calls and Teams meetings can be arranged to ensure clarity and confidence with your requirements and how our support will help you and your business. 

Step 4: Engagement Setup & Secure Onboarding

Once agreed and you’re happy to proceed, we’ll formalise the engagement.

This includes:

- Confirming scope, timelines, and ways of working

- Putting the necessary agreements in place

- Secure access setup (least‑privilege, best practice)

- Confirming boundaries and responsibilities

- Ensure data protection, security and confidentiality are in place from day one

- A structured onboarding process where nothing is assumed for a safe, controlled start with minimal disruption to your business.

Step 5: Delivery, Stabilisation & Ongoing Microsoft 365 Administration Support

Work is delivered methodically and transparently.

Depending on your requirements, this may involve:

- Microsoft 365 administration support and clean‑up

- SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange integration and or organisation

- Implementing permissions or permission model redesign

- SharePoint and Teams migration support with planning, execution or post‑migration stabilisation

- Governance, retention, and data lifecycle improvements

- Handover including training (if required) all documentation, reports etc to internal IT or MSPs

Work is delivered methodically, with clear communication so you always know what’s been done and why for a more secure, resilient, and understandable Microsoft 365 environment.
